Customer Does NOT Come First

The Customer does not come first. In our business society, we have catered to the customer for far too long and have built up this ‘customer first’ attitude that people now have a sense of entitlement.

They now think that if they want ANYTHING, they should have it, simply because they walked into your establishment or hired your services, because they are the ‘customer’.

This way of thinking is wrong because it is allowing the customer to run and rule the business. When the opposite needs to be true.

Companies need to learn to tell customers, NO! The attitude of entitlement needs to stop.

Leaders as Baby Sitters

Leading others is over-glorified baby sitting.

Leading others is not as easy as it first seems, there are so many non-work issues that your employees bring to you, this is one reason why you need to empower them to make decisions.

Having a great team behind you, helps you to be a great leader.

This makes your job so much easier.

Delegating allows you to get more done in less time. You then become an organizer, keeping everything moving and under control.

Taking the time to effectively coach and mentor your team pays greater dividends and goes further than just reprimanding or explaining something and saying not to do it again.
